All software is free. You only pay for additional TaskSultan services you use or for automations implemented upon request by you or hosted on your behalf by TaskSultan. UiPath Community Edition gives eligible individuals and small organisations a real platform and TaskSultan can help you reach a working first automation.
UiPath Community Edition currently provides a fixed set of licenses and a monthly Credits allowance. It is not an unlimited paid plan and UiPath Community Edition Credits are not the same thing as buying extra AI Units. Read UiPath's UiPath Community Edition plan documentation and Community Agreement for the current terms.
Included at no software cost
What is free.
These are included when your organisation qualifies for the current UiPath Community Edition plan. Individual capabilities have their own service limits.
UiPath Community Edition account
A free UiPath Automation Cloud organisation and one tenant for eligible individuals and small organisations.
Studio Desktop and Studio Web
Design, test and maintain automations on Windows with Studio Desktop, or use Studio Web in the browser.
UiPath Assistant and Robot
Assistant and the UiPath Community Edition-compatible Robot are included for launching and running attended work, with one included Unattended Robot.
Orchestrator
The cloud service for managing, scheduling and monitoring automations, robots, queues and related resources.
One Pro user and one Plus user
The UiPath Community Edition plan includes one Pro user and one Plus user. You can add people to the organisation, but only the included user licenses receive those entitlements.
Included platform services
Apps, Action Center, Integration Service and other UiPath Community Edition services are available within their plan-specific limits.
Monthly UiPath Credits
UiPath Community Edition includes a shared monthly Credits allowance for eligible AI and agentic capabilities. The allowance resets monthly.
Ordinary automation runs
There is no fixed monthly execution count for ordinary automation runs, subject to the specific service, robot, runtime and plan limits that apply.
TaskSultan first automation
Eligible customers can receive one focused first-automation service free within the agreed scope and suitability requirements.
Upgrade or scope separately
What is not free.
The software does not suddenly become unusable. These are the points where you need a paid UiPath plan, additional consumption under the applicable plan or a separately scoped TaskSultan service.
More users or robots
The UiPath Community Edition license counts are fixed. Additional user or robot licenses require an upgrade to a paid plan. You can get a very long way into your automation journey before needing additional robot licenses, especially with guidance from TaskSultan on license optimization.
More AI or agentic capacity
UiPath Community Edition Credits are a shared monthly allowance. UiPath Community Edition does not provide a general top-up route; if you need more capacity, use the paid licensing path available for your organisation.
AI Units and other paid consumption
Do not confuse UiPath Community Edition Credits with AI Units in other UiPath licensing models. Additional consumption units, where offered, are purchased under the applicable paid plan and product terms.
UiPath Support
UiPath Support is not included; UiPath Community Edition organisations use the Community Forum. TaskSultan can provide separately scoped advice, training or delivery support.
Additional AI agent integration
If the included UiPath AI and agentic capacity is not enough, TaskSultan can set up additional agents in a customer-chosen local harness such as Codex, Hermes, Claude or another supported tool and integrate them with UiPath automations. TaskSultan does not charge additional costs for tokens used. The customer subscribes directly to the chosen LLM provider and pays its token or usage costs.
TaskSultan Support
Optional TaskSultan Support is available for a fixed monthly fee when requested. This is separate from the free TaskSultan software and any ad hoc delivery services.
